Our Curriculum
Academic Programs
From toddlers to upper elementary, every Mariposa program follows the Montessori framework — multi-age classrooms, self-directed work, and a deep respect for the child's natural developmental path.
What We Offer
Our Programs
Toddler Community
Ages 18 months – 3 years
A gentle introduction to independence and community. Children build language, movement, and self-care skills in a carefully prepared environment.
Primary / Casa
Ages 3 – 6 years
The heart of the Montessori approach. Children work freely with hands-on materials that build concentration, order, and a love of learning.
Lower Elementary
Ages 6 – 9 years
Guided by the Great Lessons, children explore history, science, language, and mathematics through collaborative research and discovery.
Upper Elementary
Ages 9 – 12 years
Older learners take on complex projects, civic responsibility, and emerging technology — grounded in Montessori values and real-world application.
Our Philosophy
How We Teach
Child-Led Learning
Children choose their work based on readiness and interest, developing intrinsic motivation and deep focus.
Hands-On Materials
Concrete, self-correcting materials let children discover abstract concepts through direct physical experience.
Mixed-Age Classrooms
Multi-year groupings build leadership, empathy, and collaborative skills across developmental stages.
